How secure is Early Jewelry’s checkout process?

Early Jewelry uses Authorize.net, the most trusted, secure internet credit card-processing service, to process your payment. When you are ready to checkout, clicking on “Proceed to Payment” automatically connects you to a secure website where you may enter your ordering information, including credit card number. We at Early Jewelry never see this confidential information; it is processed entirely through Authorize.net. After the transaction is complete, we receive an email with your order and shipping address, and we take it from there! For more information, go to www.authorize.net.

How do I care for my Early Jewelry pieces?

Wear and tear happens to everyday jewelry, so clean your pieces often.

Storage: Store in a jewelry box or airtight container. This will help slow tarnishing of silver, which is a natural process as it comes into contact with air. Also, careful storage prevents damage to feathered pieces.

Polishing: Buy a jewelry polishing cloth; This is the safest way to keep your jewelry bright.

Cleaning: To clean metal pieces, such as silver or gold filled chain, mix a little baking soda and water in your palm to make a paste, and gently rub the chain with the mixture. Rinse well with water and pat dry.
To clean wood or leather pieces, simply wipe with a damp (not wet!) cloth. Be especially delicate with wood screen-printed earrings: Excessive rubbing can smear the design. (We choose acrylic inks over plastic inks; plastic inks are more toxic and environmentally harmful.)

Keep away from pets; Early Jewelry pieces could become fun play toys, and the feathers or leather could be easily damaged.

What if I lose an earring?

We are happy to send you a replacement earring for half the cost of a full pair. Please contact us for specific information and pricing. What is Early Jewelry’s policy on damages?
Early Jewelry packages each order by hand, taking care to prevent damage during shipping. However, if you receive a damaged piece, we are happy to send a replacement. Simply send back the damaged item, and upon receipt we will ship a replacement to you at no cost.

Please provide the following information with your piece:

Your name
Your receipt number (Proof of Purchase)
Specify that you would like a replacement for the item
Email or phone number where you can be reached
Your mailing address

Please pack carefully and insure your package; we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

How long will it take to process and ship my Early Jewelry order?

We at Early Jewelry are proud of our personalized and efficient customer service. For individual online orders, we process your order the day we receive it. Because our pieces are custom-made to order, we begin creating your piece according to your specifications right away. Most orders are shipped within three business days; for larger orders, please allow up to two weeks for delivery.
